The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, announced Today, Thursday that a terrorist blew himself up on security forces in Salah al-Din without causalities.
Rasool said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "During carrying out an inspection operation by Salah al-Din Operations Command in the al-Maetah area to search for the injured terrorist, who was wounded during the air strike, and when the force arrived at the place of the strike, the terrorist was found and surrounded, and after fire exchange, the terrorist blew himself up."
He added that "No causalities resulted from the explosion among the security forces," noting that "three dead bodies were found, and the search is still going on."
