Salah al-Din Operations Command confirmed today, Friday, the high coordination between the security forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces to secure all the polling stations.
The Commander of Salah al-Din Operations, Major General Abdul Mohsen Hatem, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The army, police, rapid response forces, federal police and the security forces of Salah al-Din province are continuing their security and proactive operations to secure all the polling stations," noting that "there are three electoral districts divided among Samarra Operations Commands of 138 polling stations, Salah El-Din 136 polling centers, and Al-Douz 38 polling centers,” noting that “there are military units, including 12 in Salah El-Din, and 12 in Samarra to secure and protect special polling stations for the security forces.”
He continued, "There is high and joint coordination between the army, the police, and the Popular Mobilization Forces, as well as the eastern sector represented in the east of the Tigris."
