Minister of Agriculture Muhammad Al-Khafaji and the Saudi Minister of Agriculture, Water and Environment, Abdul Rahman Al-Fadhli discussed on Monday, strengthening the new partnership with the Saudi side.
"Al-Khafaji met the Saudi Minister of Agriculture on the sidelines of his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with an official invitation to participate in opening the International Conference and Exhibition on Fisheries, which aims to strengthen international partnerships and discuss food security challenges as well as, the sustainability of the Fisheries sector wealth," stated the Ministry of Agriculture in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement included the Ministry noting that "the conference and exhibition was organized with the participation of 30 countries, 70 international and local companies, 50 international speakers, 150 international businessmen and 1500 Saudi businessmen,"
"The two sides discussed, during the meeting, strengthening the new partnership, between Iraq and the Kingdom, within the framework of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council, in a manner that serves the interests of the two brotherly people,"
