The Retribution operation against the perpetrators of Al-Azeem crime was purely Iraqi, JOC says

The Joint Operations Command (JOC) announced on Monday, that the process of retribution for the perpetrators of Al-Azeem crime was purely Iraqi.

 

JOC spokesman, Major General Tahsin al-Khafaji, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the retribution operation against the perpetrators of Al-Azeem crime was purely Iraqi and under the direction of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces."

He added, "The operation was very carefully planned and conducted after the Commander-in-Chief ordered the security and intelligence services to capture the perpetrators, and in a very short period of time we were able to retaliate against them through information provided by the National Security Service through the Air Force Command, which did so through the targeting cell at the Joint Operations Command.
