Egypt and the UAE condemn the attack on Baghdad International Airport 

The Republic of Egypt and the UAE condemned, today, Friday, the attack on Baghdad International Airport. 

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, in a statement seen by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Arab Republic of Egypt condemns the terrorist bombing that targeted Baghdad International Airport at dawn today and resulted in some material losses.". 

The statement added, "Egypt affirms its strong condemnation of these attacks, which represent a clear threat to the stability of Iraq and the capabilities of its brotherly people, in addition to what they pose to undermine freedom of air navigation.". 

He continued, "Egypt also stresses its full solidarity with Iraq in the measures it takes to preserve its security and stability.". 

For its part, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation stated that "the UAE strongly condemns the cowardly terrorist missile attack that targeted Baghdad International Airport, which resulted in material losses."
