The United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) condemned on Wednesday the rocket attack near the residence of Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi in Anbar.
"We condemn the rocket attack near the residence of Speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi in Anbar, which injured a number of civilians," UNAMI said in a tweet on its Twitter account, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"This is a cowardly attempt to stir chaos," UNAMI said, calling on the authorities to "intensify efforts to prevent such acts and arrest the perpetrators".
"It is important to be calm and restrained to counter attempts at destabilization," UNAMI said.
