Wasit: Official working hours start at 9 am due to cold wave

    Wasit Governor, Muhammad Jamil Al-Mayahi, decided on Saturday, that official working hours in government departments start 09am due to the cold wave. 

    ”In terms of the ongoing severe cold wave, and in order not to confuse the administrative and service work, especially the completion of the curriculum for all schools while they are at the start of the mid-year exams, it was decided that the official working hours are to begin in all departments for this week only, from 09am instead of 08am,” said Al-Mayahi, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
