Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar laid today, Saturday, the foundation stone for the Central Processing Facility in al-Fayha oil field, with a capacity of 100,000 barrels per day.
The Iraqi News Agency reporter said that "Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar laid the foundation stone for the Central Processing Facility project for al- Fayhaa field, the ninth block, north of Basra, with a capacity of one hundred thousand barrels per day," noting that "the current production is about 57 thousand barrels."
He added that "The Company executing the project is China's CNOOC, and the official operator of the field is the Kuwait Energy Company."
