CBI: New unprecedent growth of foreign reserves in 2021

INA – BAGHDAD

Central Bank of Iraq – CBI confirmed on Wednesday, achieving an unprecedented growth in foreign reserves in 2021.

"CBI data for 2021 showed an unprecedented growth in foreign reserves compared to previous years,” according to a statement by the media office of the Central Bank, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

The statement included, "This growth was achieved thanks to the bank's various investments and its management in accordance with the monetary policy based on best international practices away from risks,"
