The Oil Ministry announced on Wednesday the resumption of crude oil pumping through the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline.
"Crude oil has been resumed pumping through the Kirkuk Ceyhan pipeline this morning, with a capacity of 75,000 barrels per day after hours-long hiatus due to the accident involving the pipeline inside the Turkish territory," the ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"The suspension will not affect the volume of exports that will be compensated by pumping additional quantities," the ministry said in the statement.
