Salih to Al Nahyan: UAE security is an integral part of region's stability

President Barham Salih said Tuesday that UAE security is an integral part of that of the region.
 
A statement by the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, had a telephone conversation with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during which he condemned the sinful attack on the United Arab Emirates," noting that " Such actions constitute an escalation and a threat to the security and stability of the entire region."
 
"The security and stability of the UAE is an integral part of the security and stability of the whole region," he said, referring to Iraq's solidarity with the UAE.
 
Salih stressed "the importance of bilateral relations between the two peoples and the two brotherly countries."
 
For his part, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the president's call, praising Iraq's "position in support of the UAE".
 
He expressed appreciation for "Iraq's efforts to establish peace throughout the region."
