National Security Adviser Qasim al-Araji and Syrian Ambassador Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah discussed, today, Monday, securing the borders and the file of al-Hol camp.
The media office of the National Security Adviser said in a statement, that "the National Security Adviser, Qasim Al-Araji, received in his office today, the Syrian Ambassador to Baghdad, Sattam Jadaan Al-Dandah," noting that "the latest developments in the political and security situation were discussed, on both levels regional and international cooperation, and joint cooperation in securing the borders between the two countries, as well as discussing the file of al-Hol border camp."
Al-Araji assured the Syrian ambassador, "Syria is part of the Arab nation and an extension of the Arabic depth," noting that "its people have proven their steadfastness in the face of all conspiracies."
For his part, the Syrian ambassador indicated that " Iraq is the Arab hub and the safety for its Arab and regional surroundings."
