Al-Amiri condemns the attacks on the Green Zone

    The head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri, condemned today, Friday, the attacks on the Green Zone. 

    Al-Amiri said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We strongly condemn the recent attacks on the Green Zone and the headquarters of political parties in general.". 

    He added that "these actions are not justified, and the security services must carry out their duties in controlling security and protecting citizens and their property.". 

    Yesterday, Thursday, the Security Media Cell announced that a girl and a woman were wounded in a missile attack targeting the Green Zone. 

    The cell said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "in a cowardly terrorist act, the innocent residents of the Green Zone in Baghdad and the headquarters of diplomatic missions that the Iraqi security forces bear the responsibility of protecting were attacked by a number of missiles launched from the Dora area south of the capital, which As a result, a girl and a woman were injured."
