Army Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah discussed on Tuesday, with the commander of the NATO mission the progress of projects to increase the capabilities of the Iraqi army.
"Army Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah received in his office the commander of the NATO mission in Iraq and a number of mission advisers," the defense ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"The meeting discussed the progress of projects submitted by the mission aimed at increasing the capabilities of the Iraqi army and discussing options for developing the level of mission's work in the country," the statement said.
