Rasoul: 11 terrorists were arrested in different regions 

The spokesman for the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces , Major General Yahya Rasoul, announced on Thursday, the arrest of 11 terrorists from terrorist gangs Daesh in different regions.

Major General Rasoul said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "According to the directive of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, coinciding with the feast of our valiant army, and with the efforts of the men of the Counter-Terrorism Service, and with the start of 2022, our men overthrow 11 terrorists from ISIS gangs in different areas.". 

He added that, "Al-Qayari in the formations of the Counter-Terrorism Service carried out various qualitative duties, beginning with Anbar Governorate, in the west of the country, in which 7 Takfiri gangs were arrested.". 

Rasoul added, "The agency was also able to arrest 4 terrorists, two of them in Kirkuk governorate and the other two in Salah al-Din and Diyala governorates.". 

The spokesman for the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces concluded that "the Counter-Terrorism Service on this happy day, which coincides with the 101st anniversary of the founding of the sacrificed Iraqi army, confirms that its hand will reach all members of ISIS terrorist gangs, and that the just punishment of them for their desecration of our land will continue until Iraq is free of their clutches." .
