The Ministry of Health announced Thursday, recording 5 cases of Omicron for returning travelers.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "cases of Omicron were recorded for a number of returnees from travel, through genetic tracking tests conducted by the Central Public Health Laboratory in Baghdad."
The ministry added, "5 cases of omicron were recorded from Dohuk Governorate and a number of foreign diplomats in Baghdad."
