OPEC votes to appoint Kuwaiti candidate as new secretary general

    The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) voted to appoint Kuwaiti candidate Haitham al-Ghais as its new secretary general, four sources from the group told Reuters on Monday.
