SMC: Targeting two vehicles carrying terrorist elements in Anbar

Security Media Cell - SMC announced on Wednesday, the killing of three terrorists by targeting two vehicles carrying terrorist elements east of Al-Rutba district, Anbar.

”Through ongoing follow-up and the intersection of accurate information for the intelligence of the Fifth Division of the Iraqi army, the security units in the Ground Forces Command / Anbar Operations Command, and after two vehicles carrying Daesh terrorist gang members with medium weapons tried to light approach to the headquarters of the Third Regiment of the 20th Brigade in the Fifth Division of the Iraqi Army, east of Al-Rutba district, as it was able to target the two vehicles with various weapons,” stated SMC in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

The statement included, "One of the wheels was directly hit and the terrorist elements who were riding in it were hit. The security forces found two mobile devices, an explosive device and a gun inside it," stressing that "the security forces started chasing the other wheel and terrorist elements, killing 3 of them,”
