The Security Media Cell announced that the Air Force destroyed the caves and hideouts of terrorists in 14 strikes in the Hamrin Mountains.
The cell said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "to support the ground units within the sector of Diyala Operations Command, which began today, Sunday, an extensive security operation. The Air Force carried out 14 precise air strikes by L_159 and F_16 aircraft, which resulted in the destruction of a set from the caves and dens of terrorists in Hamrin Mountains.”
The cell added, "The security forces are determined to hunt down terrorist elements in all regions," noting that "there will be other proactive operations, according to accurate intelligence information, to destroy terrorists' hideouts, based on an extensive plan prepared for this purpose."
