Baghdad - INA
The Digital Media Center called, today, Thursday, for the creation of a ministry concerned with digital transformation affairs in Iraq in the formation of the next government.
The center said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "countries all over the world in general and our Arab region in particular are moving fast towards digitization, which has become a necessary need for the work and sustainability of the state, and is not a luxury or a marginal issue that can perform its tasks by a specific committee or A department in one of the state ministries.
He added, "The proposed new ministry should focus first on activating the principle of electronic governance in all state institutions according to a realistic and clear plan and within a specific timetable, as well as its interest in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, big data, electronic automation, blockchain, cloud computing, the distance education system, and everything else." It relates to these concepts that form the foundations of digital transformation and its frameworks.”.
