The Security Media Cell announced today, Thursday, the arrest of ISIS therapist and four of his aides in Kirkuk province.
"During its continues pre-emptive operations implemented by the Agency of Intelligence and Federal Investigation (AIFI) at the Ministry of Interior to peruse the terrorist groups and dry up their sources, and in separate operations in Kirkuk Governorate, which resulted in the arrest of five wanted terrorists in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of anti- terrorism law for their affiliation with ISIS terrorist gangs", SMC said in a statement, received by the Iraqi news agency (INA).
The statement explained, " During Through an in-depth investigation with the criminals, the first terrorist admitted that he treated the patients and wounded of ISIS gangs members in their guesthouse, as well as providing them with medicines and medical equipment, taking advantage of his position as an employee at the Ministry of Health, as well as providing logistical support to them, while the rest of the arrested terrorists worked within the ranks of ISIS in the so-called Kirkuk sector, as they provided support to the terrorist gangs of ISIS and they also participated in several terrorist operations against the security forces and citizens before the liberation operations.
The statement continued, "The confessions of the criminals were written down, and all the legal measures were taken against them."
