The Joint Operations Command announced that al- Harir base in Erbil is devoid of any combat forces belonging to the international coalition, while indicating that the advisers will be distributed between Ain Al-Assad and Harir bases.
Command spokesman Tahsin Al-Khafaji said in a statement to Al-Iraqiya News, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the withdrawal of the combat forces of the international coalition from Iraq done smoothly," noting that "al- Harir base in Erbil is devoid of any combat forces of the international coalition."
He added, "These forces completed their withdrawal before the end of this year," noting that "what rests is a small part of the advisers who provide advice in the field of combating terrorism."
Al-Khafaji confirmed that "these advisors will be distributed between the bases of Ain Al-Assad and al-Harir," noting that "our forces have begun to take all coalition camps, starting this year."
