The National Security Service announced today, Saturday, the seizure of half a million of smuggled medications that were not subject to standardization and quality control in Baghdad.
NSS said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "The detachments of the National Security Service in Baghdad, in partnership with the health teams, began conducting inspection tours of the warehouses and pharmaceutical offices in Al-Saadoun district."
The statement added that "The detachments were able to seize half a million smuggled medications that were not subject to standardization and quality control."
The statement also pointed out that "The seizures were confiscated, until the completion of all the legal procedures."
