The Supreme Judicial Council decided today, Tuesday, to postpone the trial of Al-Hashemi's murderer until next February.
The reporter of The Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "The judiciary decided to postpone the trial of the murderer of the martyr Hisham al-Hashemi to February 28 of next year."
It’s to be mentioned, last July, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi announced the arrest of the killers of Hisham Al-Hashemi.
Al-Kadhimi said in a tweet on his official Twitter account, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “We promised to arrest the killers of Hisham Al-Hashemi and we fulfilled the promise, and before that we put the death squads and the killers of Ahmed Abdul-Samad before justice, and our forces arrested hundreds of criminals involved in the blood of innocents. ".
He added, "Everyone has the right to criticize. We do not work for cheap advertisements, nor do we bid, but we do our duty as much as we can to serve our people and achieve the truth."
