Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and the strengthening of joint cooperation.
A statement issued by the media office of the Prime Minister, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi received a phone call from the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Deputy Prime Minister, Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz."
The statement added, "The Saudi Crown Prince congratulated the Prime Minister on the centenary of the establishing of the Iraqi state."
He pointed out that "the two sides reviewed, during the call, the bilateral relations between the two countries, the strengthening of joint cooperation and ways to support and develop it, in a manner that serves the interests of the peoples of the two brotherly countries."
