Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed on Sunday bilateral relations between the two countries and strengthening joint cooperation.
"Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi received a telephone call from the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, deputy prime minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz," said a statement issued by the prime minister's media office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"The Crown Prince congratulated the Prime Minister on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi state," the statement said.
“The two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries, promoting joint cooperation and ways to support and develop it, in the interests of the peoples of the two brotherly countries," the statement said.
