WHO: No need to panic about "Omicron"

The great World Health Organization scientists, ,confirmed that the new strain of mutated virus Corona "Omicron" is highly contagious, but people should not feel panicked because of it .

"The correct approach is preparedness and caution, not panic, in the face of the new mutant," added during an interview at the "Reuters Next" conference, today, Friday.

The WHO continued, "How much should we worry? We need to be prepared and cautious, not panic, because we are in a different situation than we were a year ago.".

WHO also indicated that "the emergence of the new mutant is not welcome," adding that "the world is better prepared, given that vaccines have been made since the beginning of the pandemic."
