Basra Operations Command and the units attached to it began today, Monday, searching and inspection Ops within the sector of responsibility to prevent tribal conflicts.
The Security Media Cell stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that " Basra Operations Command and the units attached to it have started new operations to inspect and search within the responsibility sector, as they located random controls and checkpoints for the purpose of arresting the wanted persons, confiscating unlicensed weapons and preventing the occurrence of tribal conflicts to enhance security and stability in Basra province".
SMC added that “All the seized materials were duly dealt with."
