Al-Amiri, Al-Abadi and Allawi discuss the election results

The head of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi al-Amiri, the head of the victory Alliance Haider al-Abadi, and the head of the National Coalition, Iyad Allawi, discussed the electoral fraud file.
 
Al-Amiri’s media office said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Sunday that “Al-Amiri met separately with Haider al-Abadi and Iyad Allawi in the capital, Baghdad, to discuss political developments and the file of electoral fraud."
 
The statement added, "It was stressed the need to follow up on appeals of the parliamentary elections through legal and judicial means."
 
For his part, Al-Amiri clarified that "the appeal submitted by Al-Fateh Alliance to the Federal Court last Thursday contained sufficient evidence to annul the election results."
