NSS announce dismantling drug trafficking network in Baghdad

    The National Security Service (NSS) announced on Friday, dismantling a drug trafficking network with 26 kilograms in Baghdad.
     
    the Security Media Cell said in a statement , received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that, "during a precise qualitative operation, a force from the National Security Service in Baghdad, after receiving intelligence information and obtaining judicial approvals ,  sets up ambushes in Husseiniya and Ghazaliya areas, resulted in capturing a network consisting of (5) persons who are one of the largest drug trafficking networks in the capital, after raiding their den and arresting three of the accused.”
     
    The statement added, "The main transporter was lured from Maysan Governorate and then was arrested, as his confessions led to the arrest of the owner of the network's warehouse."
