Iraq elected to the membership of the Capacity Building Committee

    Iraq was elected, on Friday, to membership in the Capacity Building Committee of the Paris Agreement for the first time. 

    The reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that, Iraq was elected to the membership of the Capacity Building Committee in the Paris Agreement as part of the activities of the 26th Glasgow Climate Change Conference currently being held in Glasgow. 

    Our correspondent added that this is the first time that Iraq is elected to such a position in the Framework Convention on Climate Change.
