Media reported that a group of immigrants had infiltrated Poland from Belarus illegally, amid escalating tensions at the borders of the two countries.
The media sources confirmed, "Today, Friday, the migrants crossed the barbed wire at the (Brozgy) border crossing, in view of the Polish police, who documented this with cameras, and they are currently moving along the border fence.
Meanwhile, a group of child migrants organized a demonstration on the Belarusian side of the border to protest their living conditions and the European Union's refusal to grant them shelter.
The Belarusian border guards confirmed that they are monitoring the movement of a new group of migrants towards the camp.
For its part, the Polish border guards said that since the beginning of the migration crisis in August, they have recorded 33.2 thousand attempts to breach the country's borders (233 of them on Thursday), 370 times more than what was recorded in the same period last year.
The Polish government announced the closure of the "Kuznitsa" border crossing with Belarus, promising Minsk to take further measures in this regard.
Belarus and the European Union accuse each other of instigating the migration crisis at the border.
