Kuwaiti media reported Monday that the government has resigned to the emir of the country, Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.
"The Government of Kuwait has submitted its resignation to the emir of the country," the local newspapers Al-Qabas and Rai reported.
According to Reuters, "the Kuwaiti government is in confrontation with opposition deputies who insisted on questioning the prime minister, Sheikh Sabah al-Khalid al-Sabah, in the elected parliament."
