GCC condemning assassination attempt on Al-Kadhimi: Iraq's security is part of GCC countries security

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on Sunday condemned the assassination attempt on Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi.

"It condemns the assassination attempt on Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi," the council said in a statement followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Earlier, the security media cell announced that Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mustafa al-Kadhimi had been subjected to a failed assassination attempt by a booby-trapped drone.

Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi called on everyone to engage in meaningful and constructive dialogue for Iraq and its future, noting that cowardly missiles and drones do not build our homelands or our future.
