Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said the talks with Iran were "cordial" while describing the negotiations with it as "exploratory."
"We are serious about the talks, and it is not a big shift for us, we always say that we want to find a way to stabilize the region," Farhan said in a press statement.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian praised the dialogue between his country and Saudi Arabia, given the importance of the two countries' role in the region.
