The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) said Saturday that the results of the manual counting matched the electronic counting by 100 percent.
"After the end of the voting process for the special vote yesterday and the emergence of the results of the electronic report distributed to the agents published at the centers, the station, which was selected by hand lot for the purpose of counting and sorting manually, was opened," IHEC spokeswoman Jumana al-Ghalay told the Iraqi News Agency ( INA).
"The results of the electronic counting at the selected stations were consistent with reports that came out from results acceleration devices by 100%, she said.
