The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Naim Al-Ghazi, stressed today, Wednesday, the necessity of reconstruction and supporting the development in Dhu Qar province, calling on investors to be responsible and adhere to the time schedule for its completion.
"Al-Ghazi met with local investors in Dhi Qar province, and urged them to activate the reconstruction process, and supporting comprehensive development projects, which contribute to a service renaissance, help in employing manpower, and eliminating the scourge of unemployment,” according to the statement of the Council of Ministers received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Al-Ghazi stressed that "The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers attaches great importance to the file of the reconstruction of Dhi Qar province, as it worked, in coordination with the concerned government agencies, to activate (114) vital projects."
He affirmed the importance of investors being committed to the time tables for completing the projects," calling on investors to be responsible and not allow any cases of extortion to which they may be exposed. He also expressed the readiness of the General Secretariat, depending on the integrity teams, to continue undermining corruption networks.
