The Electoral Commission issued of Tuesday, a final call to voters to update their data, while specifying those not entitled to vote.
Commission spokeswoman Jumana al-Ghalay said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the last date for updating voter data is today, with the end of official working hours," calling on all voters to "review the nearest registration center to receive the biometric card."
The commission added that, "The voter who owns a short-term card and has updated his data from the date of the first of February until the 15th of last April, reviews and receives his/her biometric card, because the card has been disabled and stopped working and he/she is not entitled to vote with it," calling them to "review the nearest registration center to receive his/her biometric card."
