Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul Jabbar announced on Sunday, the ministry's measures taken towards the region's monthly exports, while setting the region's share of the general budget.
Abdul Jabbar told INA that "The Iraqi government is deducting 250,000 barrels of oil from the Kurdistan Region every month at somo's price, sending documents from Somo to the Ministry of Finance in order to stabilize and document the amounts of money to be made for the region," he said adding that "These amounts are from the territory's share of the general budget.”
"The region's Oil Minister Kamal Al-Atrushi is sending 1 million liters of regular gasoline a day while equipping stations for improved gasoline at export prices as part of our commitment as a federal government to provide fuel to the citizens in the region."
