INA publishes an exclusive picture of Gilgamesh's dream tablet and the Sumerian ram

The Iraqi News Agency (INA) is unique in publishing exclusive photos of Gilgamesh's dream tablet and the Sumerian ram.

It is scheduled to take place this evening, Thursday, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Culture, received by (INA), the process of receiving the tablet of Gilgamesh’s dream and the Sumerian ram, in the presence of the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Hassan Nadhim, and the head of the Antiquities and Heritage Authority Laith Hussein Majid, in cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Iraqi Embassy in the United States At the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC, in a ceremony attended by UNESCO, the two antiquities will be handed over to Iraq’s ambassador to Washington, Farid Yassin, and then handed over to the Ministry of Culture for return to the Iraqi Museum.

The program of the ceremony will include displaying the board on the table next to the podium, and the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Hassan Nadhim will give a speech entitled: (What does this return mean to the people of Iraq), and the speech of the head of the General Authority for Antiquities and Heritage will be Laith Majid Hussein on (the importance of the Iraqi cultural heritage).
