The Digital Media Center made on Thursday, a series of recommendations to establish an independent organization specialized in Cybersecurity in Iraq.
The center said at the second Iraqi Cybersecurity conference attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “The recommendations included establishing an independent and specialized in Cybersecurity in Iraq that works in its detailed affairs and attracts youth competencies in this field, as is the case in the world in general and neighboring countries in particular, provided that this institution is far from partisan and political interventions.”
"The recommendations also included the introduction of Cybersecurity into the middle school curriculum in Iraq, as this is a necessity that concerned sides in the country must pay attention to maintain future generations and to make them aware of their personal security," the center added.
It is mentioned that the conference included the launch of a major awareness campaign on the importance of maintaining the user's digital security as it deals with the virtual world involving relevant state institutions and civil society organizations related to Cybersecurity.
