U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and France's Jean-Yves Le Drian will hold a bilateral meeting at the United Nations on Thursday, a day after Presidents Joe Biden and Emmanuel Macron issued a joint statement to end the crisis between both countries, a U.S. official said.
The official told reporters, asking not to be named, that the two ministers had a "good conversation" yesterday evening, , on the sidelines of a meeting of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, adding that, "we expect to meet again in a bilateral meeting on Thursday.”
