Minister of Interior Othman Al-Ghanimi directed on Tuesday, sending the first batch of the Ministry's wounded abroad.
Al-Ghanimi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We are following with great interest the conditions of the brave wounded from the Ministry of Interior, and we are working through the specialized authorities to provide them with the necessary treatment."
He added, "We directed the Health Insurance Fund to send the first batch of these heroes who received the Medal of Honor during their duty, abroad, who could not be treated in Iraq," expressing his thanks to those "who contributed to the completion of this work."
