Biden: joint action is needed to develop international law

US President Joe Biden called during a meeting with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, for jointly developing the international legal system to ensure the well-being and security of all mankind.

"Biden said that "Governments must now continue to systematically work together to advance international law and ensure equal well-being , peace and security for all. This is as important as it was 76 years ago".

Biden stressed his administration's full support for the world organization, noting that his country's cooperation with the United Nations is based on "shared principles and values that are currently characterized by unprecedented importance."

On his part, Guterres said that cooperation between the United States and the United Nations is a cornerstone of the work of the world organization, expressing his quest to develop these relations.
