The General Co. for Post Issues stamps of Pope Francis' visit to Iraq

The General Company for Post and Savings announced on Monday, issuing of stamps for the visit of His Holiness Pope Francis to Iraq.
 
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Communications, Raad Al-Mashhadani, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): " The General Company for Post and Savings issued a postage stamp for the visit of His Holiness Pope Francis to Iraq, and his meeting with the Religious Authority, His Eminence, Sayyid Ali Al-Sistani, and another stamp for his visit to the city of Ur." This visit embodied the concepts of peaceful coexistence and love between religions inside and outside Iraq.
 
He added, "This issuance came within the company's annual plan for 2021, and according to the directives of the Minister of Communications, Arkan Shehab Ahmed Al-Shaibani, and the Director General of The General Company for Post and Savings, Idris Khaled Abdel Rahman, to mark the visit of the important figures to our country."
