FM: The Iraq investment doors are open to KSA companies

    Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein confirmed today, Thursday, that the doors of investment in Iraq are open to Saudi companies, while Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan expressed his satisfaction with the government's procedures in preparing for and making the elections a success with transparency and integrity.

    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Minister Fouad Hussein met, today, Thursday, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal bin Farhan," noting that "during the meeting, the progress of bilateral relations between Baghdad and Riyadh was discussed.".

    Hussein added, "The two sides praised the growing development it witnessed in the past period, and ways to deepen it further in light of the strong and serious well of both countries to strengthen cooperation frameworks between them," noting that "the prospects for enhancing joint cooperation between the two countries were discussed, which contributes to achieving the interests of the two countries.".

     "The meetings of the Joint Higher Coordination Committee, and their repercussions on the economic and investment reality, were discussed.". he added

    For his part, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan valued the efforts of the Iraqi government in the success of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, "expressing his satisfaction with the government's measures in preparing for and making the elections a success with transparency and integrity.".

    He stressed, "on the development of bilateral relations between Iraq and the Kingdom, with the aim of strengthening brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries."
