The Civil Defense Directorate was able to put out the fire that broke out at Al-Taj Hospital in Central Baghdad.
The Directorate said in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency (INA) that: “Civil Defense teams were able to rescue patients and medical cadres at Al-Taj Hospital after a fire broke out in the oxygen cylinders storage room due to the burning of a number of caravans, in violation of the safety and security instructions issued by the Civil Defense Directorate”.
The statement added that "Defense teams controlled the fire inside without recording human casualties ".
It's worth mentioning that, The Civil Defense has requested to conduct an investigation on the basis of the forensic expert's report to determine the causes of the fire.
