French President Emmanuel Macron stressed, today, Sunday, that his visit to the city of Mosul came to express its importance and to give appreciation to all the communities.
We are in Mosul to indicate the importance of the city and to express our appreciation to all the communities that make up Iraqi society, Macron said in a statement during his visit to Mosul, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The reconstruction process is very slow, he added.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron visited the Church of Our Lady of the Hour in the city of Mosul, accompanied by Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, to see its reality and what ISIS terrorist gangs did to the church buildings.
