Secretary-General of Gulf Cooperation Council, Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, confirmed on Saturday, the preparations for holding a conference under the title (Gulf-Iraq Reconstruction and Investment Conference) in the coming period.
“The Council supports Iraq and looks forward to strengthening its strategic relationship with the Gulf Cooperation Council," said Al-Hajraf during his speech at Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Al-Hajraf stressed “the need to follow up on the outcomes of Kuwait Conference, which provided economic support for Iraq,”
"The Gulf Cooperation Council's relationship with Iraq is within constants," he noted.
