President of Egypt: Iraq went through different foreign interferences

Egyptian President Abdul Fattah El-Sisi stressed in Saturday, that Baghdad conference is an opportunity for consultation and cooperation to face challenges.

"Egypt continues to support the government's efforts to achieve stability in Iraq and consolidate its position, as it stands by the Iraqi government in achieving security,” said Al-Sisi in his speech during Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA). 


Al-Sisi added that "Egypt looks at the achievements under the leadership of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and welcomes the transfer of its experience to Iraq to walk together on the path towards the future,”

"Iraq went through various foreign interferences, and that Egypt rejects the attacks on Iraqi lands,” he stressed.

 He indicated that "Egypt hopes for the success of the early elections, which will open the door for the Iraqi people to move forward with steady steps towards the future they deserve and support the government in restoring Iraq's historical position as to consolidate its position in the Arab world and its role in the region in addition to the level of the international community,”
